Frequently asked questions

Which whole house water filter removes the most contaminants?

If your goal is to filter drinking water to the highest standard, our Reverse Osmosis (RO) filters can remove up to 99% of harmful contaminants.

For complete home filtration, we recommend pairing the POE3000 Whole House Filtration System with an RO Under Kitchen Sink Filter. This combination ensures your bathing and showering water is highly filtered, while your drinking water is purified to 99% for ultimate safety.

How often do I need to change my POE whole house water filter cartridges?

We recommend replacing your POE whole house filters every 6-12 months to maintain optimal filtration performance. A noticeable drop in water pressure often indicates it’s time for a filter change.

Take the hassle out of replacements with our Replacement Filter Subscription Service. Select your filters and schedule your replacements (every 6 or 12 months), and we’ll deliver them to your door right on time.

Can the POE whole house water filter be fitted outside?

We recommend installing the POE3000 indoors at the point where mains water enters your home.

If outdoor installation is your only option, the POE7000 is suitable for outdoor use, provided it is protected from harsh weather and extreme temperatures (below 5°C or above 40°C).

How important is my water pressure?

Maintaining the correct water pressure is essential for optimal performance.

  • Ideal Pressure for RO Systems: 50-55 PSI
  • Ideal Pressure for POE Systems: 45-55 PSI

If your pressure is too low, consider using a booster pump. If it’s too high, a pressure regulator can help. Contact us for assistance in achieving the right pressure to ensure your system’s longevity and efficiency.

Can I install a POE water filter system and an RO system together?

Yes, absolutely! Combining a POE system with an RO system is the ideal solution for customers seeking the highest water quality throughout their home. This setup ensures optimal filtration for showering and bathing, along with 99% pure drinking water.
